I am an Engineer by education & a professional business manager for 30 plus years. I am a detail oriented individual with back up plans for back up plans when handling such major transactions as this. My attention to detail and organization are hallmarks of who I am. In interviewing the new possible realtors I was very thorough and forth right of the way I expected the transaction to be handled. The choice came down to two Realtors and we went with Barbara as she had more sales in my neighborhood, her website was professional, and her plan for the sale was more detailed and thought out.
We scheduled the listing date and Barbara went to work and did a superior listing and video. On the day we went live with the listing she brought us an offer. It did not clear the subject removal, but she had a back up offer that did go through to completion. In the interim she advertised the house, carried on an open house and continued to show the house to potential buyers to be sure. She continued to market the home until subject removal was official.
While the sale was going through the needed steps we found a new townhome that she got us into right away and we submitted an offer through Barbara that was accepted within 4 hours late on a Sunday night.
She sold our place and helped us obtain a new one all within 6 weeks from listing date to possession and move into the new place. Now I realize that is not the norm but when all the "i's" are dotted and the "t's" crossed and you have a true professional in charge the circumstances are set for this to happen. The previous realtor had 5 months and did nothing...she got it all done in 6 weeks. I am a results oriented guy and Barbara is a results oriented Realtor, while being compassionate and understanding of the enormity of what selling your home means to the people involved.
This is the biggest single transaction most people will ever be involved with and Barbara Gloor is the person you want handling this!
